All the software creation abilities of ITCenter Company’s team have been put at the service of a project not only attractive, but also very complex: software for indoor advertising, whose beneficiary was the Irish company
INFO TV ltd.
The following concepts represented the departure point:

Advertising without limits; everything must be possible.

Drawing the attention of people around is only up to the person sending the message.

A screen showing a sequence of advertising videos is history.
The INFO TV company of Ireland, specialized in indoor advertising, had a request from its client, an important Irish bank, namely to send advertising videos throughout the country so that the message may reach the target public. Thus, videos had to be managed in an automatic and centralized way, leaving at the same time the possibility to each branch to run commercials of the local traders together with videos sent by the bank. Also, each branch manager had to be able to insert in the news band a message specific to that branch.
INFO TV asked ITCenter Company to create a custom software solution that could meet its client’s requests. The answer provided by ITCenter Company incorporates the newest multimedia and data transfer technologies and it has allowed INFO TV to consolidate and extend its client base.
INFO TV has implemented the system in over 100 locations in Ireland.
Benefits incorporated in the created application:

The separation of the screen in various sections, so that various concepts may be implemented;

A news band connected to a RSS flow for current news or other kinds of announcements (real estate announcements, tenders, stock market) all over the world;

Reception of TV channels in one or several screen sections.

Advertising videos placed at random so that the sequence of their broadcast may never repeat itself.

Support for various file formats: Video (.avi, .mpeg, .mpg, .mov, .wmv, .mp4), Images (.jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif), Flash (.swf, .flv, .dcr); Web pages (.htm, .html, .xhtml, .dhtm, .aspx, .php); Audio (.wav, .wma, .mp3, .aac)
The system has the following components:

ADVERTS PLAYER – advertising presentation application on plasma or LCD screens;

SYSTEM MANAGER – application for the administration and management of all advertising videos; for modeling of sections on screen; for management of locations in which the PLAYER application runs.

DB COMUNICATION – application performing the exchange of data between PLAYER and the administration database;
The technologies used are.NET 2.0, win forms and asp, SQL express (on client stations) and SQL 2005 on server, and all the communication is executed by http.
Using the application undertaken from ITCenter Company, the Irish firm solved a key problem for its operation: send files in locations situated all over Ireland.
Now, the indoor advertising application is sending messages in crowded areas, from where they are used by a large number of persons.
